This week saw System Of A Down perform a tribute concert in their homeland of Armenia as the finale of their Wake Up The Souls tour. Watch the epic show in full below.

Following their huge show at Wembley Arena, the tour rolled on to reach its climax with a massive free show in Yerevan’s Republic Square - playing for nearly two-and-a-half hours and 37 songs.

The tour was to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, as activists continue to demand reparations for the 1.5 million Armenian deaths in 1915 at the hands of the Ottoman Empire.

"Part of it is bringing attention to the fact that genocides are still happening, whether you use the word ‘genocide,’ ‘holocaust,’ or ‘humanitarian catastrophe," said frontman Serj Tankian. "None of that is changing. We want to be part of that change. We want the recognition of the first genocide of the 20th century to be a renewal of confidence that humanity can stop killing itself.”
