One Direction’s Zayn Malik had to rush out of the boy band’s press conference in Japan after falling sick.
The boys are currently in Tokyo on a tour and it would appear that Malik can’t quite stomach the Japanese food as he ran out of the media junket.
One Direction have been looking to cement their status as the biggest boy band in the world and were holding the press conferecne to announce to extra concert dates in Japan as part of the upcoming world tour. Unfortunately, 20-year-old Malik couldn’t last the distance and was taken ill halfway through.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "He had been rubbing his tummy throughout proceedings, then suddenly, he took a deep breath and dashed off stage because he felt so unwell."

The source added: “The others were all looking around concerned for a while, then Niall checked with management to see if he was Ok. They moved up to take his seat away so it didn't look too weird, while Zayn went back to his hotel to recover."
The group have clearly been trying to adapt to the Japanese way of life as Irish member, Niall Horan tweeted a picture of some authentic sashimi, but band hearthrob Harry Styles admitted: "I hate raw fish."
