Beady Eye performed a surprise set at Glastonbury this morning (28 June, 2013), after teasing fans with hints online during the week.
The band performed on The Other Stage at 11am on Friday of Glastonbury, with Gallagher referencing the band's early performance slot, asking his audience: "It's never too early for a bit of Rock'n'Roll aggro, is it?"
Beady Eye confirmed their performance earlier in the morning, after initially teasing a gig on Wednesday 26 June via their Twitter account.
Their performance comes as something of a surprise - given some of Gallagher's previous, less than positive comments about Glastonbury in the past.
Gallagher has a known dislike for the festival, describing it as: "Bond Street with mud, with loads of celebrities walking around in their boots and umbrellas. I'm not having it."
The sun is (almost) shining on Worthy Farm
Glastonbury's music scheduling 'officially' gets underway on Friday 28 June 2013, but Alt-J, Dry The River and Django Django performed on the Thursday night.
