A new Radiohead album may be in the pipeline, with bassist Jonny Greenwood revealing the band have laid down plans to re-group later this year to discuss the next move for the iconic band.
Greenwood recently sent tremors through Radiohead's fan community when he stated that the future of the band was 'up in the air'and that there were no plans for any future tours. Now, in a new interview with Nashville Scene, he has confirmed that things may be moving, albeit slowly, on the band's 9th studio album.
"Well we’re meeting up at the end of the summer, and we'll make a plan," he told the publication. "But, you know, we’re a slow-moving animal, always have been. I guess we’ll decide then what we do next."
In a recent interview with Drowned In Sound, he stated that Radiohead were waiting for 'the dust to settle' on their 2011 release King Of Limbs before making their.
"We had the best time when spent the last two years touring The King Of Limbs," he told DiS. "We all really enjoyed that. It was a really positive time. We definitely want to do it all again but we’ve just got to give it some time for the dust to settle.
"What I’m trying to say is everyone’s very happy and positive and looking forward to the next adventure."
