Just last week I was left flabbergasted when The Specials announced they were reforming for a one-off show in Coventry. Now, the news that Blur have put their differences aside and are set to perform a massive show at Hyde Park - and possibly even Glastonbury - is truly the icing on the cake.
I can almost hear the chimes of “Parklife!”, the manic rush of 'Song 2', the sing-along party of 'Country House', the sweeping strings of 'The Universal' on that glorious summer day on July 3.
In honour of Blur's reformation, here's are ten other bands that I think should put their differences aside and get back together. Well I can dream can't I?!

Genesis with Peter Gabriel: Yes it’s hard to believe, but before they promoted Phil Collins to lead vocals and became vapid stadium rockers, Genesis were actually a fucking brilliant band. Bring Gabriel back and restore your dignity.

- Morrissey and Marr get along fine- it's the other 2 Morrissey hates.
- Could be nice, but you're forgetting that Sterling Morrison (ex-velvet guitarist) also has passed away. Besides they did have a reunion tour in 1993.
- got to agree that with orbital, blur and most of the specials back, all next summers festival circuits need is the beta band
- Why not do bands who shouldn't of reformed. I can think of a few, Sex Pistols, The Spice Girls, Queen with Paul Rodgers, East 17, The Who
- You forgot Blink-182!
