Online dating can be a war zone. You've got ghost profiles, "full-time yummy mummys", hook up only types, and profile pics that have a hundred people in it so you don't even have a clue who it is you'd be dating. As stupid as it sounds one might say the easiest way to deal with such a busy battlefield is to just date yourself. That's precisely what Will Joseph Cook did in the video for his song 'Girls Like Me'.

Talking to Gigwise backstage at Reading Festival 2016, the 19-year-old broke down some of the dos and don'ts of online and speed dating and explained that as cheesy as it sounds having a sense of humour is important. Discussing comparisons to the likes of Orlando Weeks from The Maccabees and David Byrne of Talking Heads, Will also explained how Phoenix influenced him musically and he even took the time to shamelessly plug his upcoming tour.
