More about: Teen Creeps
Belgian group Teen Creeps continue to tease the release of their new album Forever today with the release of touching new track and album closer 'Crash/Land'.
Coming alongside a beautiful animated video drawn in monochrome, it's the perfect accompaniment to the grunge ballad: an emotive purging of feeling that translates perfectly in deadpan facial expressions combined with frenetic static as its background.
'Crash/Land' is teeming with creativity, and it finishes off with a stunning guitar solo too. See the video first on Gigwise today:
“’CRASH/LAND’ is about being at a crossroads in your life”, vocalist Bert Vliegen said, "you’re getting older and slowly settling down, but you also want to stay young and free. At the same time there’s a big feeling of nostalgia for the years when you were still pretty much careless. Those feelings are also translated beautifully in the video by Boy Tillekens (Swain). He animated a whole video that’s pure melancholy and suits the song perfectly. I love how it goes crazy when that guitar solo finally hits.”
Forever arrives 22 January via PIAS.
