Lights down low for Phantom Isle, who have shared their new single and accompanying video 'I Am Urs'. The seventies themed video give you a good idea of what you're getting, which is a whole dose of disco ball balladry - with a dark edge.

Bright synths deal out the sparkles while a sultry bassline make sure you're in the mood while guitars and vocals seal the romantic deal. Listen to the lyrics though, and it all gets a little more sinister: "the song is called ‘I Am Urs’, in the most literal sense; it’s about feeling like you are owned by your lover!" lead singer Peter Marchant explains.

Throw in a rollerskating party-goer, a scattering of white balloons and some spectacular zebra trousers, and you've got a full-on swooning tune.

The video features the rollerskating skills of Storm, who has worked with Nile Rodgers. It's also the last song recorded with late bass player Matt Marchant, who passed away last year.

"The video pays tribute to Peter's brother Matt Marchant who's funeral took place one week prior to the filming. Matt was the original bassist in the band and played on the record. ”

The video was directed by previous collaborator Leif Johnson.
