All good things must come to an end, and tonight (24 September) we approach our last Live In Orbit performance with our friends at The Close Encounter Club. Taking to the intergalactic stage tonight is eccentric troubadour Lazarus Kane and his band.

Tune in from 9pm (BST) below to catch all of the action.

Warming up the crowd is a compilation of some of the greatest moments from The Club so far. Featuring performances from Our Girl, Fur, Trudy & The Romance and Happyness it’s the perfect preparation for lift off with Lazarus Kane.

On Kane’s last single ‘Night Walking’ we said: “Ever wanted to know what a mash-up of disco-inflected new wave and contemporary alternative music might sound like? Lazarus Kane has put us out of our misery by demonstrating. 'Night Walking', only Kane's second release, cements this artist's already considerable reputation. Sure, there's the Chic-coded staccato of the guitar that'll make 'Night Walking' a mainstay on alt-indie dancefloors post-lockdown, but there's also an overwhelming scent of Kenny Loggins about the new cut (in a good way).”

Tune in tonight from 9pm (BST) to catch Lazarus Kane and some old favourites Live In Orbit. Whilst you’re waiting for lift off though, check out these behind the scenes snaps from our photographer Katie Willoughby and catch up with the rest of our Live In Orbit sessions here.
