More about:

Enter another world with A Blaze of Feather, who releases the beguiling 'Witching Hour' and its spooky accompanying video today. It proceeds the brand new album Labyrinth, which arrived in August.

Magic-lead, and abundant in otherworldly sounds and warped time signatures, 'Witching Hour' is a special 7-minute slice of stream of consciousness from A Blaze of Feather.

The adjoining hand-spooled video is a haunting 16mm trip through the Cornish countryside in the early morning - geographically, it was shot close to the residence of famed occultist Aleister Crowley.

“This song came about in the ultra-early hours last spring. My mind was rushing at about 3am, and I couldn’t sleep. I’ve heard they call this strange warp of the clock the witching hour, and that name resonates" Mickey Smith explained.
