Alongside his new album Valencia, Yeek has premiered short film ‘h.a.w.a.i.i’ at a drive-in screening in Santa Monica. The visually-powerful short film tells the story of a young boy, Sebastian (played by Yeek’s young cousin) whose life is dictated by technology which is built into his home. One day, he decides to take his own path.

This isn’t Yeek’s first foray into filmmaking, having already been cast in a film at this year’s Sundance festival. ‘h.a.w.a.i.i.’ is a fascinating insight into his new album, as he tries to strike a balance between his independence as an artist and his collaborations with other musicians.
