Sam Smith has revealed a 15-second preview of his theme song for the forthcoming James Bond film Spectre. Listen below.
After months and months of brushing off rumours and attempting to throw journalists off the scent, Smith finally confirmed that he had recorded the new Bond theme earlier this month.
'Writing's On The Wall' will be the theme to the 24th James Bond epic, due for cinematic release 26 October. The track is due to be unveiled on 25 September - but Smith has unveiled a short teaser to whet fans' appetites.

"This is one of the highlights of my career," said Smith when he announced the news. "I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it."
Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, the producers of Spectre, added: "Sam and Jimmy have written the most inspirational song for Spectre and with Sam's extraordinary vocal performance, 'Writing's On The Wall' will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time."
Smith wrote the song with his GRAMMY-winning, longtime collaborator Jimmy Napes - with whom he worked on the massive 'Stay With Me'.
