Roskilde has added a massive 21 names to it's already stellar line-up for 2016, including LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala and many more. See below for full line-up and ticket details.
One of Europe's biggest and most renowned festivals, Roskilde had already announced the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foals, New Order and Bring Me The Horizon. Now, the Danish bash has added an epic 21 new names to the bill - including LCD Soundsystem on their ever-growing reunion tour.
“LCD Soundsystem’s reunion almost came out of the blue, and we didn’t dare to believe the initial rumours," said a festival spokesman. "We’re happy to be part of this reunion, presenting them for the third time at Roskilde Festival. Unlike many other bands, LCD Soundsystem pulled the plug at the very height of their success, and they won’t just play shows, they’ll also treat us to a new album. We’re fully convinced that they’ll live up to the massive expectations."
Other new additions include Tame Impala, Chvrches, Savages, MØ, Floating Points, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Protomartyr, Destroyer, Ghost, Kvelertak, S!vas, Birdy Nam Nam, DJ Paypal, First Hate, Gaye Su Akyol, Klub 27, The Minds of 99, Palace Winter, Recondite, and Tal National.
They'll be joining the already announced Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wiz Khalifa, New Order, Foals, Bring Me The Horizon, P J Harvey, Tenacious D, Blaue Blume, Action Bronson, Mac Demarco, Sleep, Skepta, Courtney Barnett, Sleaford Mods, Vince Staples, Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, Aurora, Bisse, Blick Bassy, Cate Le Bon, Dusky, Hayden James, Pat Thomas, Odesza, Tsjuder, Twitching Tongue, Cattle Decapitation, Colin Stetson & Sarah Neufeld, Ho99o9, Kuedo, Qwanqwa, and Sturgill Simpson.
