Taylor Swift has discussed the rumors that she and Kanye West are collaborating, saying that she completely respects him as a producer and that he has “a lot of amazing ideas”.
In a new interview with ET, which you can watch below, Swift was asked about the status of the rumored duet. “He has said that,” Taylor stated. “We've never been in a studio together, but he's got a lot of amazing ideas.”
Watch Taylor Swift discuss her collaboration with Kanye West:
She did confirm that the two have discussed working together, though. “He's one of those people that's just like idea, idea, idea,” she shared. “He's very creative and… I think we've talked about it but we've also talked about so many other things… I completely respect him as a producer. So, that's all I know now.”
During the interview, Swift was also asked if she would be writing any new music while on her forthcoming 1989 World Tour. “I’m not making the next record yet, that’s going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be,” she replied. “With 1989, I love this album so much that I think it’d be doing a real disservice to try and copy it the next time around. I think it’s going to have to be something very different, creatively.”
