Morrissey has treated fans to his views on new Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on the first night of his UK tour, saying, "They're going to assassinate him."
The singer played at Plymouth Pavillions last night, to kick off a short UK tour that includes two nights at London's Eventim Apollo.
As well as performing a number of hits, including two Smiths songs, Morrissey also opined on Jeremy Corbyn, who was elected the new Labour leader over the weekend.
The exact quote isn't quite clear, but the consensus is that he said, "You know he's a vegerarian? He doesn't like the monarchy? He hates war? They're gonna assassinate him."

What do we think of Jeremy Corbyn? He's vegetarian, he's anti-monarchy, he's against war... They're gonna assassinate him. - Morrissey
