Judging by her unabashedly gleeful face, Susan Boyle had the greatest weekend of her life at T In The Park this weekend. Sadly, she did it all with a side helping of cultural appropriation.

Clearly, the former Britain's Got Talent contestant missed the memo on Native American headdresses. Wearing them is seen as a form of appropriation, because it ignores and undermines their complex cultural significance among Native culture. Or, as a recent Change.org petition put it, "homogenises diverse indigenous peoples, and perpetuates damaging, archaic and racist stereotypes."

Native American headdresses were famously banned from Glastonbury festival this year

Many people found it hard to be mad, though, when she looked like the happiest person who'd ever existed, posing for pictures with the likes of Kodaline's Steve Garrigan and Peace's Harrison Koisser, and reportedly hanging out with The Prodigy.

Others weren't so forgiving, however.

T In The Park came to an end last night (12 July) with performance from Noel Gallagher, Stereophonics, Jamie T, The Prodigy and more.
