More about: Tyler, The Creator
Tyler The Creator has spoken out about pulling out of Reading + Leeds festival this weekend - revealing that he is banned from entering the UK for "3-5 years".
The rapper had cancelled shows at Reading & Leeds, Belfast and Dublin earlier this week but offered no further explanation than "circumstances". Yesterday, he took to Twitter to explain his reasons.
Outlining that he was banned from entering the UK for 3-5 years, he cited "lyrics from 2009" as the reason behind the decision.
BASED ON LYRICS FROM 2009 I AM NOT ALLOWED IN THE UK FOR 3-5 YEARS ( although i was there 8 weeks ago) THAT IS WHY THE SHOWS WERE CANCELLED.

According to DIY , Christian Clancy penned a lengthier explanation of the ban in a Tumblr post. He claimed: "im not defending his OLD lyrics. to be honest they make me cringe, but i stand beside him because of who he actually IS."
Earlier this month, Zayn Malik accepted Tyler The Creator's offer to collaborate on his new solo album.
