Miles Kane has today shared the second cut from his upcoming album Change The Show, arriving 21 January on BMG Records. ‘Caroline’ is heavily inspired by Motown and soul, encouraging listeners to reach out and let people know they are loved.

‘Caroline’ is a high-energy bop complete with a horn section (as all the best bops are). The celebratory energy is paired with a more delicate message that everything is going to be alright as he mixes vintage sounds with modern vocals. Kane spoke about the importance of the track:

“‘Caroline’ is a song about reaching out to someone to tell them they are special and loved. It’s so important for us to communicate with each other at the good and the bad times, even when it’s hard to do so.”  

On Change The Show, we can expect to hear influences from Motown, soul and 50s R&B, as well as a duet with Corinne Bailey Rae. Miles Kane will be embarking on a UK tour early next year:
