Last night, the National performed in San Francisco at Treasure Island Music Festival. During their headline set, singer Matt Berninger invited Chvrches' very own Lauren Mayberry to the stage to duet 'I Need My Girl'. Watch the footage below.
The pair performed the Trouble Will Find Me Track together for the first time, with Mayberry and Berninger joining forces for a sweet and delicate rendition of the rousing song.

Gigwise spoke with Matt Berninger a couple of months back, and the frontman gave some insight into progress on The National's new album. "None of us know what that's going to turn out like, but we are trying to change our process just to keep it interesting and see what happens that way."
