It's no wonder that Wolf Alice are among the Mercury Prize nominees - the likes of 'Bros', 'Blush', their incredible prowess as a live band on tour and their cutting lyrics that have not only made My Love Is Cool one of the albums of the year, and them the soundtrack of 2015. But what progress are they making on their next album?

"We're not working on album two, so much as we're just always writing," singer Ellie Rowsell tells Gigwise. "We've started sending stuff to each other. We've not really set a date or anything, but definitely thinking about new music - we're excited about new music and churning stuff out. It is being conceived."
So in the meantime, you'll have to make do with another victory lap when they return to tour the UK next year. But what can we expect, and how will it be different from what we've already seen?
"I don't know, you know, I think we'll be better," singer Ellie Rowsell tells Gigwise, before drummer Joel Amey continues "hopefully! I don't know, we haven't really thought about it too much. We are excited for that tour though."
