Good news for fans of '70s British rock - Jeff Lynne's ELO have added two new dates to their 2016 UK tour. Following a popular Hyde Park show for Radio 2 last year, and a new album, Alone In The Universe, the band have added shows in Manchester and Birmingham. See ticket details below.
Electric Light Orchestra originally split back in 1986 after nearly two decades of success. They had an ill-fated reunion at the start of this century, but it wasn't until Jeff Lynne decided to revive the outfit using his own name that things really stepped back into gear.
Lynne announced details of an ELO arena tour last month, which includes four dates at London's O2 Arena. The tour will see the band showcase their classic hits, as well as this year's Alone In The Universe - the first album of new material credited to the group since 2001.
Now, Jeff Lynne's ELO have added two new shows in June - one in Manchester Arena on 22 June, and another at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena two days later on 24 June.
Tickets for the new dates are on sale this Friday (11 December) at 9am. See Jeff Lynne's ELO's full UK tour dates below, with new dates indicated. Get tickets and more information here.
