Tributes have started to flood in after the tragic news that acting legend Alan Rickman has died from cancer.
The Harry Potter, Die Hard, Dogma, Love Actually and Robin Hood screen icon's death was confirmed by representatives today (Thursday 14 January) - stating that the BAFTA, Golden Globe and Emmy-winning stage and cinema legend passed away “surrounded by family and friends”.
His death comes at the age of 69 from cancer - the same age and disease that took David Bowie from us this week, just weeks after Motorhead icon Lemmy lost his battle to cancer too. Please join us in saying:

Alan Rickman was great in Die Hard. Like Berkoff in Rambo, I bet he took the piss out of Willis off camera. RIP

I used to be on nodding terms with Alan Rickman, used to see him all the time when I walked my dog in Holland Park
