Bad news for fans of The Stone Roses, as the band have been forced to cancel some tour dates after drummer Reni has fractured his ribs.
The band, who are currently hard at work on their long-awaited new album, return to the road this year - playing a huge run of world tour dates, including shows at Etihad Stadium and T In The Park in the UK.
However, things haven't got off to the best start - with the band forced to pull gigs kicking off in Tokyo at the start of next month.
"The Stone Roses are very sorry to have to cancel their two proposed concerts at the Budokan," says a spokesman from promoters Creative Man. "Reni has had an accidental fall and fractured two ribs, his doctor has told him to rest for at least a month. Unfortunately this means that the band are unable to fulfil their planned performances in Japan."
The band are yet to speak out on the news, but fingers crossed that Reni is healed enough to play by the time their UK dates roll around.
