Miguel has paid tribute to David Bowie at an intimate show in Los Angeles' with a cover of the classic 'Space Oddity'. Check it out below.
Playing at the Bardot venue on Monday, Miguel performed a heart-wrenching cover of the 60s gem in a stripped back way, with just one acoustic guitar accompanying him as people crowded into the 300 capacity venue. The crowd held back their screams of enthusiasm to allow the tender version to flourish. He eventually transitioned into his single 'Waves' taken from his album Wildheart.
Miguel also performed acoustic renditions of 'Simple Things', 'Adorn', and 'Hollywood' during an hour long set that won over the swooning audience.
Elsewhere, tributes continue to pour in for David Bowie. Trent Reznor, who collaborated with him in the past, paid tribute to the father like figure he was as he really helped him out of a bad patch he was going through.
Meanwhile, Miguel will continue to tour his incredible new album at Okeechobee festival in Florida (4 -6 March), Governors Ball in New York (3-6 June), and Bonnaroo in Manchester Tennessee (9-12 June).
