Jake Bugg's return in 2016 just got a little bigger, with the 'Two Fingers' Nottingham troubadour announce tour dates - with four in London and one huge forest show in his home county.

With a new album on the horizon after dropping new single 'On My One' earlier this month, Bugg will be playing a huge summer show at Sherwood Pines Forest Park in Mansfield in June - but first will be calling into London for four intimate gigs.

Jake Bugg's upcoming tour dates are below, with tickets on sale from 9am on Wednesday 2 March. For tickets and more information, visit here

Mon March 07 2016 - LONDON Village Underground
Tue March 08 2016 - LONDON Tufnell Park Dome
Thu March 10 2016 - LONDON Electric Brixton
Fri March 11 2016 - LONDON Bush Hall
Thu June 23 2016 - MANSFIELD Sherwood Pines Forest Park

Speaking about the new material In an interview with Q in November, Bugg said: "There's songs people can actually dance to. I've been listening to [UK station] Smooth Radio. Those songs from the '70s, there was a warmth about them that you don't get in pop nowadays.

"My mates back in Clifton [Nottingham] listen to grime and hip-hop, but if I can take some cool hip-hop elements but mix them with guitar as well, then I feel like it's still me. I think this album is very diverse, every track's different, but hopefully there's still enough to please the old fans as well."

But things may have changed since that interview, and we will just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, Bugg has been added to the line up for BBC Radio 1 and Annie Mac's special broadcast from London's O2 Forum next week (29 February). He will appear on the bill alongside The 1975 and Lady Leshurr.
