Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl prank called Survivor host Jeff Probst on US radio earlier this week. Listen to it below.

The pair have had a friendly rivalry for some time, which originated when Probst - trying to impress Grohl when they first met - told him he used to be in a band with Queensryche's Scott Rockenfield. He wasn't.

"We just met and I was trying to impress him that I knew something about rock," explained Probst, "and I said, 'You know the original drummer of Queensrÿche was in a band of mine before Queensrÿche.' Since then he’ll send me a little video of Queensrÿche on the radio going 'Dude your band’s on!'"

When Probst was a guest on KROQ's The Kevin & Bean Show earlier this week, Grohl decided to ring the show pretending to be Scott Rockenfield.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters have recently been hit with rumours that they're splitting up - rumours that they poked fun of with a parody video.
