Laura Jane Grace, lead singer and guitarist of Against Me, will be releasing her memoirs.
Tranny: Confessions Of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout will be released on 15 November through Hachette Books.
Grace publically came out as transgender in 2012. The singer teamed up with Noisey editor, Dan Ozzia to write her memoirs. She also turned to Steak Mtn, who previously worked with the band’s videos, for the cover art of her book.
Grace made the announcement via her Instagram account, captioning it a “big announcement”.
Against Me released Transgender Dysphoria Blues in 2014 and live album 23 Live Sex Acts in 2015. The band are currently recording their next album, but details are limited.
Against Me also performed at Reading and Leeds last year.
