Slipknot’s frontman Corey Taylor has assured fans that he’s “okay” after taking what witnesses describe as a “hard fall” during a gig in Georgia last night.
Taylor had only recently returned to the stage following surgery for a broken neck he didn’t even realise he had. The band were forced to postpone a handful of shows, and last night’s gig in Atlanta was only the second since he was released from hospital.
Though most of the show went smoothly, with Taylor rocking a neck brace, he “took a hard fall” at the end and “couldn’t work when they picked him up.” Another fan told Blabbermouth that he “had to be supported out” of the gig.
He subsequently took to Twitter to reassure fans that he’s OK.
ATL: haha don't worry, I'm okay! I THINK that fall was one for the ages haha! DAMN it hurt- but DAMN what a crowd! See you again soon!#CMFT

Meanwhile, Taylor has denied that he is leaving the band after saying that 'he might distance himself from Slipknot' in the future, while the masked metallers are also gearing up to hit the road with Marilyn Manson.
Slipknot are also gearing up for a huge festival with Ozzy Osbourne later this year.
