Biffy Clyro have revealed a brand new single, 'Wolves Of Winter', and announced details of their new album.
Ellipsis, the band's seventh album, is set for release in July ahead of their headline slot at this summer's Reading & Leeds. It follows 2013's acclaimed Opposites.
They've now shared its first single, 'Wolves Of Winter', on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. Speaking to Lowe, Simon Neil said, "It feels absolutely like the best thing we've ever done, I think I've written some of the best songs I've ever written. It feels like we've found a new verbage for Biffy Clyro."
The new album was recorded with producer Rich Costey, who's previously worked with Muse, My Chemical Romance and Sigur Ros, and is described by Neil as "more of a punch to the nose than a big cuddle."
Ellipsis is set to be release digitally and on CD and vinyl on 8 July.
Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro have a massive Glasgow show lined up at Bellahouston Park on 27 August. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday (23 March) at 9am. Get tickets and more information here.
