Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, has reportedly pleaded not guilty to raping a 12-year-old girl.
Maraj was arrested back in November, and - according to Bossip - has been indicted on charges of raping an unidentified 12-year-old girl. At the time, he was said to have been bailed out by his mother for $100,000.
Minaj’s older brother appeared in court in New York for his arraignment just over two weeks ago, and returned yesterday (19 April) to plead not guilty to felony sexual assault against a child, two counts of sexual conduct against a child and a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Maraj has reportedly been accused of raping the victim for “several months… the last rape occurring one day before his arrest.”
Minaj, meanwhile, hasn’t publicly commented on her brother’s case.
