David Gilmour has paid tribute to Prince, by covering the classic 'Purple Rain' and mixing it in with Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb'. Check it out below.
The legendary guitarist was performing at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series of charity gigs, when he slipped in his heartfelt nod to the Purple One during his set on Sunday.

The 'Kiss' and 'Purple Rain' sensation was found dead at his Minnesota home last week - before it emerged that he had been awake and working for six days straight prior to his death, as well as potentially being on the same painkillers that killed Michael Jackson.
