After today’s unexpected London snow shower, a Prince fan’s petition to get ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’ to No.1 has gained a new flurry of attention.
The iconic musician was found dead at his Paisley home, at the age of 57, last week. His death sparked tributes from music fans across the world, as well as a number of famous faces - including Madonna, Barack Obama and Mick Jagger.
Following his death, a fan launched a Facebook campaign to get ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’ - the final track from Prince’s 1986 album Parade - to No.1. The campaign has so far gained nearly 5,000 supporters.
Earlier today, a freak snow shower in London prompted talk of divine intervention.
