Indie giants collided as Johnny Marr joined The Last Shadow Puppets to perform a beautiful version of The Smiths' 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me' in Manchester. Check it out below.

The hometown hero and Smiths icon turned solo star Marr came on stage during The Last Shadow Puppets headline show at Castlefield Bowl - as Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner added a lounge lizard swagger to the track, while the rest of the band made it swoon with a searing 1960s Morricone-esque waltz.
