Police in Scotland have confirmed that they are investigating the alleged rape of a teenager from this weekend's festival. 

The festival, which saw two teenagers die, now faces reports that an 18-year-old woman claims to have been raped in the festival's Slam Tent on site at Strathallan Castle last week on Thursday 7 July. 

It is said that police have carried out a forensic investigation of the scene in question, with a Police Scotland spokesman adding: "Police are making enquiries into a report of a rape of an 18-year-old female on Thursday evening.

"Our enquiries are ongoing."

The two deceased teens have now been named as Peter MacCallum and Megan Bell. Their deaths are believed to be drugs-related but are still being treated as separate.
