More about: Shame
Shame have a 'Snow Day' on the newest single from Drunk Tank Pink. The five minute-twenty second track is a bleak and compelling literary indie anthem with a heart of darkness.
There are echoes of Viagra Boys in some of Charlie Steen's delivery, though the sound in its totality is all their own. It's an even bigger step away from their debut album Songs of Praise with this new song: this is a sprawling, more mature take on guitars and how they can tell, alongside lyrics, the stories of life and its struggles.

'Snow Day' follows previously released tracks 'Alphabet' and 'Water in the Well'. News of Drunk Tank Pink dropped in November, an LP name that came from being written in a small out-house painted calming pink and nicknamed 'The Womb' as frontman Charlie Steen tried to write his way out of post-tour psychosis.
"A lot of this album focuses on the subconscious and dreams, this song being the pivotal moment of these themes. A song about love that is lost and the comfort and displeasure that comes after you close your eyes, fall into sleep, and are forced to confront yourself." Steen said.
