More about:

Nozstock Festival 2016 is just around the corner, with Jurassic 5 set to headline atop a pretty stellar bill. If their new single 'Customer Service' is anything to go by, it's going to be one hell of a party.

'Customer Service' is their first new track in over a decade. Picking up where they left off, it's a free and easy dose of classic alt-hip-hop - so immediate, funky and infectious that it smacks of an instant classic, and feels like it's been in your life for years. It's so damn good to have them back.

Nozstock Festival takes place in Herefordshire between 22 and 24 July. See the full line-up below. Get tickets and more information here.

  • Family Friendly: As Nozstock is actually organised and run yearly by a family, there is this great atmosphere that you can pitch up your tents with your mates, as much as you can with your nan. All ages are welcome to have one hell of a good time. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)

  • Yearly theme: This year sees the festival employ the theme of Wonders of the Ancient World. Which should be intriguing to say the least.

  • The Skints: The band are infamous for bringing several genres of music together and creating a fantastic array of sounds. Be sure to get down to catch their strange but wonderful music.

  • Shuttlebus: The average festival goer is probably sick of the odd problems when it comes to travel plans. But Nozstock have laid on a free shuttlebus to make it easier for people travelling from the surrounding areas of Herefordshire. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)

  • Richard Herring: The funny man who survived the 90s with Stewart Lee to retain his acerbic, sideways wit and find a new relevance in a new century will be featuring at the festival, a great addition to the already diverse lineup.

  • My Nu Leng: The legendary Bristolian DJs will be bringing their dark underground vibes with them to the festival. Having played Glastonbury and LoveBox, their live show is sure to be brilliant.

  • Kid Friendly: Tickets for under-12s are actually free. So if you want to get your children into the festival spirit early, Nozstock is the place for you. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)

  • Jurassic 5: The hip hop stars are already near legendary status with a remarkable Bestival headline slot last year, they're going to bring their old school hip hop to Nozstock.

  • Jaguar Skills: The masked man will be bringing his disc jockeying skills to the festival. All you need to enjoy his set are your dancing shoes, or maybe wellies.

  • The Inaugural Gathering: Most festivals have their own heritage to be proud of, but with Nozstock, their history is still ingrained in the festival. It was the inaugural gathering that saw the festival become more than just an idea, but also a real event. (Photo: Alex Avery)

  • Imelda May: The rockabilly sound is going to be a different kind of genre to the other artists, but all the more welcome. May's sound coming straight from the 50s make sure you have had dancing lessons well in advance.

  • Henning Wehn: The funny German man is going to be around to lighten any damp spirits. But if you're at the festival, there can't be anything to be sad about, can there?

  • Green Initiative: Being voted the greenest festival in 2014 is no easy feet. So Nozstock strives to continue that sort of reputation by employing the use of the clever, "reuse-me-box". The idea is quite simply, if you have anything that could be reused, be sure to pop it in your own box and give it to the festival who will then pass it on to someone else. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)

  • Greenest Festival: The festival won the accolade due to their environmentally aware ethos. It's not an easy thing to win, given the vast array of now environmentally friendly festivals, they must be doing something very special. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)

  • Goldie: The DJ has only won an MBE for his services to music and young people. He was the pioneer behind the 90s rave scene, so his set is going to be very special indeed.

  • DJ Competition: As of 2016, Nozstock are giving the chance to anyone of their fans to do a DJ set at the festival. It's pretty cool too, because it's quite unusual that literally anyone can be given this opportunity. All you have to do is head over to their website and submit a playlist.

  • Arts and Crafts tent: Nozstock truly believes that the earth should be treated as well as people expect to be treated. The arts and crafts tent focuses on using natural materials to make little souvenirs. It's also a great space for kids to play. (Photo: Alex Avery)

  • Wrong Directions Cinetent: This tent focuses on playing politically driven documentaries and thought provoking material to festival goers. If you've had enough of live music for the day, you can go get a bite to eat and make the most of the educational material put in front of you. (Photo: Ray Alex Avery)

  • Cheap Tickets: The kids may seem to get it easy with their free tickets, but overall, the tickets are all cheap. As most of the tickets have sold out, the only ones left are the "Tier 2 Adult Tickets" but even then, they are only £115. (Photo: Ray Whittaker)
