System Of A Down have announced some European dates, and have curiously left some dates open.

As the band have announced that they will be playing a handful of European dates, including the French and Spanish additions of Download Festival, rumours are circulating.

The band posted on Facebook: "System Of A Down returns to Europe in June/July 2017 to play summer festivals and select headline dates."

System Of A Down look as though they might be gearing up to play the English addition of the festival too. Serj Tankian and co, have left the dates on either side of both festival dates free, all but confirming that they will, at the very least, be appearing at the heavy metal bash.

The shows in Paris and Madrid take place on June 10 and June 23. Whilst the English addition of those two festivals, Download Festival, takes place at Donington Park, from June 9 to June 11.

The band will also be performing at Open Air Zenith, in the French capital, on June 7, as well as date in Prague's O2 Arena on June 12.

System Of A Down will play:

June 07 2017 - Nancy, France - Open Air Zenith
June 10 2017 - Paris, France - Download Festival
June 12 2017 - Prague, Czech Republic - 02 Arena
June 17 2017 - Łódź, Poland - Impact Festival
June 20 2017 - Nimes, France - Nimes Festival
June 23 2017 - Madrid, Spain - Download Festival
