Sigur Rós have announced five UK shows in September as part of the European leg of their 2017 world tour.
The Icelandic group will play a pair of shows at each of Manchester Apollo (16 and 17 September) and London’s Eventim Apollo (20 and 21 September) before rounding out their trip to these shores with a gig at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow on 25 Sep. They will be the band’s first UK appearances since the Edinburgh Fringe show last August and you can keep an eye out for tickets from 9am Friday 3 February here.

In April, the group will perform three shows on the North American leg of the tour with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, including compositions by Anna Meredith, Dan Deacon and Owen Pallett.
