'Out of the Black' and 'Figure It Out' stars Royal Blood have announced that they will play Eden Sessions on Thursday 22 June.

The Mercury nominated Brighton rock duo, who had a chart-topping debut in 2014, recorded their forthcoming album last year and have since released a trailer to tease its release. No other details have emerged yet but it's certainly been a long time in the making and they will have a point to prove after such a successful first record.

The band have been announced for a whole host of major festivals around the world but this UK announcement is the first of hopefully more to come on home soil for the Brighton boys.

Rita Broe, Eden’s marketing director, said: “We know that a lot of our audience are big rock fans so we’re very pleased to be bringing perhaps the most exciting young rock band in the world to the Eden Sessions this summer. Royal Blood are incredible musicians and proper rock ‘n’ rollers who are sure to hit us with their signature wall of sound this summer. “This is a great coup for the Eden Sessions and we’re very proud to be the venue for their first UK show to be announced this year.”

On another note, Cornwall is relatively close to Glastonbury and the gig is a day before the festival gets off to a proper start, so we could well see them there, you never know.
