The Besnard Lakes tracks 'The Divine Wind' and 'Laura Lee' were written and recorded the same time as their 2016 album A Coliseum Complex Museum but didn't make the cut.
Instead, the tracks that exhibit a delightful mixture of early 90s Creation Records shoegaze, 60s psych pop, and abstract dreamy sonics, will be out on 12" vinyl on 3 March and you can acquire them digitally now.
The two cuts are a fantastic, essential addition to the collection of any fan of psych music. Gigwise put the band number 23 in the albums of the year 2016 list.
Of their beautifully crafted dreamy escapist LP we said: "This sonic gem doesn't stop at being a technical masterpiece: the band have sharpened their arrows compared with past albums and the songs are much more direct and catchy than ever before."
