Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller have been working on a James Bond theme song, Weller has revealed.

Speaking to the BBC, the former Jam frontman said he wants to write a track to be used on the next 007 installment. "I've got this half a song that me and Noel Gallagher worked on and I think it would be great for a Bond theme." Weller revealed.

He continued: "There's a bit of minor key going on. That would be an ambition definitely."

Meanwhile, Weller will release his new record A Kind Of Revolution tomorrow (May 12). His thirteenth studio album features guest appearances from Boy George, PP Arnold and Robert Wyatt.

Weller said the record's title is "pure coincidence" and is not political, but simply "about people."

The Modfather will also hit the road in 2018 for a huge arena tour, which comes to an end in March with a show at London's O2.

Elsewhere, Noel Gallagher played an extremely intimate acoustic show last night at Metropolis Studios in London. Gigwise were lucky enough to be there to witness performances of 'Supersonic', 'Half The World Away', 'Wonderwall' and more. Check out the full report here
