Radio 1's Big Weekend has revealed the BBC Introducing stage line-up for this year's festival. See the full announcement below.
Taking place at Burton Constable Hall later this month, the annual free event will feature performances from some of the biggest names in rock and pop - with the likes of Kings Of Leon, Katy Perry, Kasabian, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Haim and many more due to appear across two days.
Now, shining light on smaller up-and-coming artists, it has been announced that The Big Moon, Declan McKenna, Loyle Carter, Our Girl, Pale Waves and more will take to the BBC Introducing stage. The acts - who complete this year's line-up - were announced last night on Radio 1 by Mistajam and Huw Stephens.
“Once again we have a brilliant line up for the BBC Introducing stage" Stephens said. "The gigs at the Radio 1 Academy have been a lot of fun with Introducing Humberside, and we look forward to continuing the fun at Radio 1's Big Weekend. It's great to see Hull band Life returning to play for us too, as well as some really exciting new artists.”
Radio 1's Big Weekend 2017 will take place at Burton Constable Hall, Hull on 27 - 28 May 2017.
