Rae Morris has returned with a sparkling slice of pop in the form of 'Reborn'. Listen on Gigwise below.

Following her critically-acclaimed debut album Unguarded, the singer-songwriter has returned after a two-year silence with the slick new single.

Morris welcomes in "new beginnings" over jerky synth lines, before her impressive vocals soar sky-high during the euphoric chorus.

It seems album number two is just around the corner, with Morris playing live shows at the Boileroom in Guildford and The Forum in Tumbridge Wells this week. The singer is also due to perform at Field Day this month, and will play a special rooftop warm-up show this evening at Uniqlo on Oxford Street.

Morris' debut featured the singles 'Closer', 'Under The Shadows' and 'Love Again'. It featured in Gigwise's 12 best debut albums of 2015 list, where Morris' vocal was described as a "distinctive style and tone". The "organic evolution" of her songwriting was said to be "starkly visible as the album progresses".

We look forward to seeing where the upcoming new album takes her.

Rae Morris will perform at Field Day, Victoria Park this Saturday (June 3) alongside Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Run The Jewels and more.
