Good news for anyone lamenting the super-fast sell-out of this year’s Kendal Calling Festival – a limited amount of tickets will be available for resale this Friday.

Taking place in the Lowther Deer Park from July 27 - 30 in the incredibly scenic environs of the Lake District, this year’s lineup includes huge headline performances from – very deep breath here - Franz Ferdinand, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Tinie Tempah and the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson alongside the likes of Editors, Jake Bugg, Slaves, Seasick Steve, Circa Waves, Lethal Bizzle, Loyle Carner, Frightened Rabbit, Example, Nothing But Thieves and many more.
The limited amount of tickets go on sale this Friday, June 30, at 10am and will be available here. So be sure to set your alarm and head on over quick smart if you want to avoid being disappointed for a second time this year.
Also on the bill is a combination of music, art, comedy, food and drink. In addition to the Main Stage, you can also expect to find the Calling Out Stage that’ll feature the likes of The Coral and Field Music.
Elsewhere, the Glow Tent dedicated to the best in cutting edge dance music and will this year host Example + DJ Wire and Faithless among others. Tim Burgess’ Tim Peaks stage will see the Charlatans frontman take to the decks, as will Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite and Nik Void of Factory Floor. Fans of Afrobeat, funk, hip hop, alternative, reggae, electronica, psyhchedelic, folk, brass, world music will be well served at the Chai Wallah tent.
