Music magazine Q has announced details of the 27th Q Awards – with an added bonus to boot. The event will take place at the Camden’s The Roundhouse on October 17 and will this year feature a special and intimate post-awards gig starring Manic Street Preachers and Sleaford Mods.

Leading this year’s nominations with four apiece are Lorde (Best Track, Best Live Act, Best Solo Artist and Best Act In The World Today), Kendrick Lamar (Best Track, Best Album, Best Solo Artist and Best Act In The World Today) and the ubiquitous Ed Sheeran (Best Track, Best Live Act, Best Solo Artist and Best Act In The World Todasy).
