Noel Gallagher has teased that new music could soon be on its way after a cryptic post appeared on Instagram. Simply stating, ‘It’s A Beautiful World’, there’s no telling if it means the name of a new album or title of a forthcoming single.

What is known is that the erstwhile Oasis guitarist’s third studio album is slated for a November release and will be the follow-up to 2015’s Chasing Yesterday. Gallagher has been working with producer David Holmes in Belfast and London but the Instagram post – showing a photo of a clear sheet with the words emblazoned in a mirror image – now moves things along at a greater pace.

Isn't it!?!?!

The November release of Noel’s third album will come just a month after younger brother Liam Gallagher releases his first solo album, As You Were. It’s pretty safe to say that with the release dates of both being so close together, we can expect some pretty explosive fireworks – and just in time for Bonfire Night too. And probably safer too but you’d still be advised to lock sensitive animals up.

In the meantime, Noel Gallagher is getting himself ready to play We Are Manchester on September 9 to mark the re-opening of the Manchester Arena following May’s horrific terrorist attack after a gig by Ariana Grande. Hosted by stand-up comedian Russell Kane, the gig will also feature The Courteeners, Blossoms, Rick Astley, Pixie Lott, ‘Longfella’ poet Tony Walsh and others.

All profits from the concert will raise money for the Manchester Memorial Fund, a charitable trust overseen by the Lord Mayor of Manchester.

Tickets for the event have already sold out.

Noel Gallagher had himself a busy summer supporting U2 and joined the Irish superstars to play ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ when they played London’s Twickenham Stadium in July.
