You wait eight months for an exhilarating new Dead Pretties track and then two come along at once.

Hot off the heels of the heavy hitting banger ‘Confidence’ London trio Dead Pretties have now unleashed ‘Water’. The thirst quenching ode is a rallying and ramshackle delight, beginning with a more sombre tone it’s not long until singer and guitarist Jacob Slater’s snarling vocals present themselves before you’re allowed to immerse yourself in the beautifully boisterous and brash instrumentals courtesy of Jacob, bassist Oscar Browne and drummer Ben Firth.

Speaking about the track the vocalist reveals, “it’s a song about deliberate self-destruction, allowing something to slowly kill you because you think the kick you get from it makes you feel more alive than anything else.”

Soaked with thrilling exuberance the new cut is pairing with ‘Confidence’ as a double A-side 7” release which drops on 3 November, just after the three-piece finish their first headline tour.
