Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are close to finishing the follow up to ‘Howl’ Peter Hayes and Rob Turner have revealed.
And Hayes says that on the bands fourth album they have once again gone electric after the mainly acoustic musing of their last offering.
He told Billboard: "Things open up and break down within the songs a lot. There are some songs that are kind of groove-oriented and not so blues or country influenced."
Rob Turner added that former drummer Nick Jago is back in the fray, saying: "When he came in for the last record, there were two songs we did with him that we left off."
"We knew they'd be for this one. We used those two songs as a starting point for what this album was going to sound like, and for the most part we stuck to it."
The album is expected to be released next spring and tracks set to feature include ‘Killin’ The Light’, ‘Am I Only’, ‘All I Do Is Talk’, ‘Weapon Of Choice’, ‘Cold Wind’, ‘The Show’, ‘666’ and ‘The Conducer’.
