The Wombats Set To Make History

The Wombats have announced that they will play a headlining show at Liverpool’s 1000-capacity Carling Academy, a first for an unsigned group, on February 24th.

The announcement comes in the wake of their sell-out performance at the cities Academy 2 venue - where one hundred people were turned away on the night.

Dates supporting Babyshambles and The Blood Arm have seen the band become one of the most hotly tipped unsigned bands in the UK.

Their debut single ‘Backfire At The Disco’ is tipped for release shortly after their Liverpool spectacle.
