From Kortrijk, Belgium, synth-rock outfit Goose started life as an AC-DC covers band before turning to the keyboards and developing a style that is instantly recognisable as their own.
They made a name for themselves across Europe with early single Audience which was used on a continent wide advert for Coca Cola. This brought them to the attention of Fat Boys Slims Brighton based Skint Records who looked to unleash them on the UK market.
Whilst used to playing festival crowds of over 5000 in Belgium and Holland they started off small in the UK first coming to Gigwises attention when appearing in the first support slot for The Veils at Camden Barfly with a performance that stole the show. They produced a set that slaps you in the face and demands full attention and borders on hypnosis when the strobe fuses with the relentless beats.
Following on from their early foray into product advertising Goose scored the theme to Heinekens Champions League promotion. The first single on Skint was the pulsating Black Gloves in July 2006 and was followed by album Bring It On released that September. The album didnt attract the kind of attention that was predicted for the band mainly due to the very limited number of outlets actually selling it. Undeterred Skint reissued the album in February 2007 with much higher hopes.
